KUALA TERENGGANU & PULAU PERHENTIAN TRIP

( JUN 2006)

Terengganu located at the east cost of Malaysia. Eventhough this was my trip 4 years ago before being as a blogger but i still wants to share the best part of Pulau Perhentian , Terengganu.


Departure from K. Lumpur at 9.00am and it took nearly 7 hours to reach Kuala Besut, Terengganu. The boat to Pulau Perhentian end by 3.00pm so we decided to stay one night at Kuala Besut.


day 01
5.30pm Reached Bukit Keluang Resort, Kuala Besut, Terengganu. Very tired through out the journey from kl..7 hours day travel. Bukit Keluang Resort is a nearby resort to stay. It is around 2-5km to Jetty Kuala Besut.

The resort is ok..but the food there gud and cheap!! If miss to get the boat to Pulau Perhentian before 3pm, i suggest u guys book earlier at Bukit Keluang Resort...not so expensive and worth it just for sleep and rest. The rate is between MYR 80 - MYR 150 pernight..

6.00 pm check-in and as usual my 2 kids felt bored after 7 hours spending time in the car. Hence we all quickly rushed to swimming pool to cool our body... ushhh...best!!!

8.00 pm dinner time. What to eat? No need to go anyway, the resort got a few stalls for us to taste terengganu foods.

day 02


7.30am - breakfast. The foods ok... but not many choises..basic breakfast..bread, egg...


8.30am - check-out
can't wait to reach Pulau Perhentian. It's took only 10- 15 mins to Kuala Besut Jetty. If coming with our own car..we need to park near jetty. Security and safety comes first and for most , find out somewhere shaded parking area.


9.00am - reach Kuala Besut Jetty. I've booked earlier 4 days 3 nights at Coral View Island Resort so we straight away to the resort office nearby and wait the boat come until 10.00am.

10.00am - yeahhhh....Pulau Perhentian.....i'm coming...!!!

10.45am - reached Pulau Perhentian ( 45 mins )...wowww....it's great!!!! with the blue sky and green sea.. it was like we're in heaven....

12.00 noon till evening.... can't wait anymore to swim.. we're spending almostly 3 hours at the beach..snorkelling to see small fish..playing and biting us...like FISH SPA... :)

day 03...


It's time to snorkel at " Marine Center". We need to rent all snorkelling equipments from the resort coz' our package not included trip for snorkelling. 4 of us..the price for rental less than myr60...!!


While waiting for the boat, having breakfast at the resort..the food...wowww...great!!

sorry friends,, don't hav the camera which can snap the photos under sea!..by the way, ya allah it's great down there...the coral, the colorful fish...totally superb!!

what so brave...6 and 3 years kids can swim together with their parents..i'm proud of u..eim sara!!

day 04

Yesterday was so exhausted, so day 04 we just doin' some activities at nearby beach...like jugle tracking.

day 05

time to go home.. we really enjoyed the trip eventhough only spend 4 days 3 nights. Time to say gud bye to resort staff and friends we met there...

We reached to Kuala Besut nearly 12 noon.

Very exhausted..and decided to rest at nearby beach and hav some lunch .

Late evening, we reached Kuala Terengganu. It needs more hours to reach Kuala Lumpur so we decided to stay a night at Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu.

Breakfast early morning at Pasar Payang. Kuala Terengganu very famous for its Nasi Dagang. Very cheap...u can get less than myr3.00 per plate... depends on your side dishes!!

After breakfast, we shopped for a while at Pasar Payang. This market famous for its Batik shop and souvenirs. The prices can negotiate!! Don't miss to go Pasar Payang...

Around 2pm... we departured from Kuala Terengganu. Along the way...to Kuala Lumpur, u can see the Floating Mosque....beautiful with its white color skin..

7.00 pm we reached Kuala Lumpur....!!!

PENANG TRIP ( 19 SEPT 2010 - 22 SEPT 2010)

Penang Bridge ( 3rd longest in the world)

Happening... 4 days 3 nights trip to Penang. Stayed at Bayview Beach Resort, Batu Feringgi, Penang. The place..wow...it's great with our budget..neighbour with Hard Rock Hotel.

As from Kuala Lumpur, the Plus Highway tol fee will be around RM47 from Jalan Duta, K.lumpur to Penang.

By using Garmin GPS, we can estimated our journey travel time..departure near 11.00am and we reached the Bayview around 2.30pm. It was Sunday so the life traffic in Georgetown was not miserable. If u plan to visit Penang on workdays...errgghhhh...u will stuck on the heavy traffic jam.., so avoid during the peak hours.

Yesss.....19 sept 2010, reached our destination The Bayview Beach Resort, Batu Feringgi.The service counter friendly..i like!! But a bit sad...no welcoming drink...heehee

2.30pm - reached Bayview Beach Resort, Batu Feringgi

3.00pm - Check -in......woww....it was worth it with our budget to stay at Family Suite...so big , u slightly can play the table tennis inside there...enough space for my 2 kids...happyyy!!!

Normal price (citizen)..per night is around RM700++ but if u're membership of Bayview..so u can get around RM350++ pernight...

Why not...join me the benefits of Bayview???? Standard room and Deluxe room , u can get up to 65% discounts....emmmmm....it's really good for us as a travel lovers... :)

4.00pm - "mummy ,,we hungry!!! So let's go to La Veranda.!!! "

We missed lunch coz' all the way from KL, Just stop a while at Tapah, Perak...rest room and take away KFC..it was 3 hours ago...now it's time to order... what to eat??? yumyyy...yummyyy...

Nasi Goreng Istimewa....RM28++ ( membership..u can get 15% discount if dine alone..and it will increase the discount percentage if u dine more than 2....so..apa lagi...heeheeh)

"Nasi Goreng Istimewa"....i told u guys....it's really gud, gud, gud...u can get Satay,fried chicken, keropok ikan , fried egg, shrimp, vege..all together in one plate...imagine how big it was!!! woowww....

After all, it's was our favourite time enjoying with family...swimming at the swimming pool and doin' some beach activities.
